Served as lead counsel to Chesapeake Energy Corporation in the sale of a portion of Chesapeake Energy’s oil and gas assets in the Eagle Ford shale, south Texas for $1.4 billion. The sale involved approximately 172,000 net acres and approximately 2,300 wells in the black oil portion of its Eagle Ford asset, primarily in Dimmit, LaSalle and McMullen counties.
