Biography
Bruce McNamara is a trusted legal advisor who brings a business-focused approach to advising public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, recapitalizations, venture financings, joint ventures and other strategic transactions, as well as general corporate matters. His clients range from startup companies in the earliest stages to well-established public companies, as well as private equity and venture capital funds.
Bruce’s experience combines more than twenty years of outside law firm experience counseling clients on both routine legal issues as well as unusual and complex ones, with in-house general counsel, chief financial officer and chief administrative officer experience at a fast-growing venture-backed startup. As a result, he brings a unique understanding of the needs of companies and investors to his practice.
Bruce has experience in public offerings and private placements of equity, equity-linked and debt securities, mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, spinoffs, strategic investments and joint ventures, as well as corporate governance and securities law compliance matters.
