Biography

Matthew Holbrook is a counsel in the Real Estate Practice Group in Haynes Boone’s Orange County office.

His practice focuses on representing institutional lenders in connection with commercial real estate financings as well as representing investors and developers in connection with general real estate acquisitions, leasing work, and dispositions.

Matthew’s practice includes representing buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, and lenders in all aspects of real estate related matters, including negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements, leases, licenses, loan documents, options, and easements.

Matthew has been responsible for the real estate related aspects of numerous corporate M&A transactions, including transactions involving agricultural land, health care facilities, medical office buildings, hospitals, rocket manufacturing facilities, steel forging facilities, fruit and flavor processing facilities, and other manufacturing facilities worldwide.

Matthew’s prior experience as a small business owner with graduate degrees in both law and business allow him to better understand the underlying business needs and motivations of his clients and approach matters in a practical, efficient manner.
