Haynes Boone is launching a series of Diversity Awareness and Inclusion Conversations beginning with Black History Month. We invite you to join us for the first session, Recognizing and Responding to Racial Inequality: A Brief Overview of the Social Scientific Research, featuring Matthew Clair, Assistant Professor at Stanford University and moderated by CJ Donald, an Associate in our Dallas office.
The conversation will focus on the myriad social and political developments over the last decade that have reminded many Americans of the problems of racial injustice. Professor Clair will draw from examples in law, medicine, education and housing to show how social scientists define and measure racial inequality, its changes over time and institutional responses to it.
