San Antonio Scene Magazine has named Haynes Boone lawyers Henson Adams and Abigail Johanson as Rising Stars and Elizabeth Breazeale, Abigail Johanson, Diana Liebmann, Laura O’Donnell, and Farr Nolen as Outstanding Women in Law.
The magazine spotlights San Antonio young lawyers who have been practicing law for 10 years or less. The Rising Stars are nominated by senior lawyers who believe they have a bright future in the legal profession, according to the magazine. The magazine also recognizes San Antonio women who are excelling in their industry. Outstanding Women in Law are nominated by practicing lawyers of Bexar County.
Rising Stars:
Henson Adams is an associate in the firm’s labor and employment practice group. Henson’s practice focuses on counseling and defending clients in labor and employment and business matters. He has represented clients in employment, environmental, and commercial litigation in both state and federal court. Henson was also listed as a Rising S.A. Star Lawyer by the magazine in 2020 and 2021.
Abigail Johanson is an associate in the firm’s real estate practice group. She is recognized by San Antonio Scene Magazine this year as a Rising Star and an Outstanding Women in Law. Her practice focuses on helping clients in San Antonio, Austin and Central Texas with a range of commercial real estate matters, including the negotiation and preparation of documents relating to the acquisition, disposition, leasing, financing and development of various income producing commercial properties. Abby was also listed as a Rising S.A. Star Lawyer by the magazine in 2018-2020 and recognized in Best San Antonio Female Lawyers in the magazine in 2021 as well.
Outstanding Women in Law:
Elizabeth Breazeale is a counsel in the firm’s real estate practice group. Elizabeth has been a real estate, construction, and finance lawyer serving clients in San Antonio, Austin and Central Texas since 1990. She was recognized in Best San Antonio Female Lawyers, San Antonio Scene Magazine 2021-2022.
Diana Liebmann is Administrative Partner of the San Antonio office and head of the firm’s Power and Renewables Practice Group. Diana’s broad transactional experience and in-depth focus on the details of wholesale and retail power regulation and market structure enable her to effectively guide clients with respect to structuring transactions, compliance, and in the investment and deployment of capital in electricity markets. She was recognized by San Antonio Scene Magazine in Best San Antonio Lawyers for Energy & Oil & Gas in 2015 and 2020 and in Best San Antonio Female Lawyers in 2021.
Laura O’Donnell is co-chair of the firm's Litigation Practice Group and heads the firm’s Wage and Hour Litigation Practice Group. Laura is board certified in labor and employment law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Her practice includes employment litigation, client counseling, executive investigations, executive agreements, nationwide employment-law compliance projects, and employment aspects of M&A and other corporate transactions. Laura has been named among the Best San Antonio Lawyers by San Antonio Scene Magazine and was included in San Antonio Scene Magazine’s 2021 Best Female Lawyers list.
Farr Nolen is a counsel in the Real Estate Practice Group in the firm’s San Antonio office. Her practice focuses on general real estate matters, including the purchase and sale of commercial real estate, the commercial leasing matters and due diligence relating to real estate transactions.
