Haynes and Boone, LLP congratulates Senior Counsel Terry Conner and his wife Anne Conner for being recognized as the Honorary Chairs by Social Venture Partners Dallas (SVP Dallas) at the organization's yearly gala. The recognition, SVP’s highest annual honor, celebrates the Conners exceptional leadership and steadfast dedication to community service and strengthening area nonprofits.

SVP Dallas is a cornerstone of community empowerment in the Dallas area, dedicated to supporting local nonprofits through strategic consulting, funding and training. Haynes Boone's work with SVP Dallas spans many years, and numerous attorneys have served as partners in the organization, including Laura Shapiro and Taylor Calvert.

“Through our excellent staff and roster of around 200 business and civic-minded partners, SVP provides pro bono consulting and funding to deserving nonprofit advisees and educates emerging business leaders on principles and skills critical to sustainable philanthropy,” Terry Conner said. “The organization creates programs to publicize important issues – and related solutions – in our community. Since 2000, dozens of our community’s most successful and impactful nonprofits have benefited from SVP’s work.”

"For years, Terry and Anne have been driving forces behind SVP Dallas' mission to empower local nonprofits and nurture a culture of sustainable giving,” said SVP Dallas Partner Giles Davidson, who co-chaired the event with his husband Daniel Waldmann. “Their tireless efforts have created lasting positive change, and we are privileged to call them partners in this important work."
