Haynes Boone’s 2024 counsel class is among the largest in the firm’s history, with 22 associates promoted to counsel this spring, effective May 1.
The multinational group, which is comprised of 54 percent women and 41 percent ethnically diverse lawyers, includes representation from a wide array of practice areas and locations. The lawyers practice in more than a dozen groups, with six in finance, three in intellectual property and three in real estate. Meanwhile, the class features lawyers from 11 of the firm’s 19 global offices, ranging from Orange County to Dallas, Mexico City, New York City, London and more.
At Haynes Boone, attorneys who qualify for the title of counsel must do excellent work of the highest quality, such that it is considered unique due to skill set, knowledge and industry or client relationships. Lawyers at the firm often move throughout their career on the continuum from associate to counsel to partner, a testament to Haynes Boone’s track record in attorney development.
"I'm happy to congratulate this year's class of lawyers promoted to counsel, who all have exceptional practical skills and leadership abilities," said Haynes Boone Managing Partner Taylor Wilson. "It is a privilege to work with them and watch their careers develop, and I'm pleased that our clients will continue to greatly benefit from their services."
