Alfredo W. Amoedo

Alfredo W. Amoedo has practiced law in California continuously since 2012, representing individuals, start-up to mid-size technology companies, major auto manufacturers, and employers in commercial and employment litigation matters.

His general practice focuses on commercial and employment litigation and includes assisting domestic and foreign clients at all stages of litigation, from pre-suit demands through trial. Alfredo has handled litigation matters involving intellectual property, securities, unfair competition, employment, and consumer fraud issues. He has also guided clients on business and regulatory issues, particularly to assess, manage, and reduce future litigation risks or adverse impacts on existing matters. He has also coordinated the defense of foreign class action lawsuits—including actions in Argentina, Canada, and Israel.

Alfredo's employment practice focuses on representing employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including against claims of discrimination, unlawful harassment, wrongful termination, unfair business practices, and wage and hour claims, including class actions and complex litigation. His practice also includes advising employers on compliance, including hiring, discipline and termination practices, wage and hour issues, misconduct investigations (i.e., harassment, workplace violence, embezzlement), leaves of absence, reasonable accommodation of employees with disabilities, policies and procedures, and employment agreements.
