Haynes Boone has launched a specialized and multi-disciplinary task force in preparation for the new Texas Business Court and Fifteenth Court of Appeals, which are set to begin operations Sept. 1, 2024.
Haynes Boone's task force combines the firm's nationally recognized commercial litigation practice and deep knowledge of corporate law in Delaware, Texas and other states. The team is equipped to assist clients in navigating the complexities of the new system and provide context in how it compares to other jurisdictions.

The Haynes Boone Texas Business Courts Task Force includes seasoned attorneys from the firm's corporate, appellate, securities, M&A and other practices:

- Brad Foster: A seasoned business litigator with a proven track record handling complex commercial matters in state and federal courts nationwide, including the Delaware Court of Chancery. Brad can advise clients concerning the role the Texas Business Court and other state business courts may play in litigation.
- David Harper: A trusted advisor with a distinguished career resolving complex business disputes, David has written and spoken on the creation of the Texas Business Court and serves on a Texas Business Law Foundation Task Force related to the new courts. He is well prepared to advise clients concerning how the Business Court will affect business disputes in Texas.
