Haynes Boone represented Frisco Community Tennis (FCT) in being awarded a management contract to oversee and manage over 100 public tennis courts located in Frisco, Texas, a growing suburb of Dallas. Haynes Boone advised FCT in the tender review, preparation of the public bid materials, and negotiation of the final contract with the Frisco authorities and the technology vendor, respectively. The public bid was a joint public bid organized by the City of Frisco and Frisco Independent School District.
In a Jan. 11, 2023 announcement, the City of Frisco said the new reservation system will allow broader community access to public tennis courts and a more efficient use of tennis facilities. Frisco Community Tennis, led by its Director Omar Treviño, will also provide tennis programs at Frisco high school courts throughout the year.
Haynes Boone Partner Larry Pascal, co-chair of the firm’s International Practice Group, led the team representing Frisco Community Tennis. Pascal was assisted by Associates Colin Cox, Eli Brook, and Alexandra Pencsak.
