Biography

Julian Sharp is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group in Haynes Boone’s Houston office.

Julian’s practice is bolstered from his experience working in federal courts. He spent the second half of his third year in law school interning full-time in the chambers of Judge Timothy L. Brooks in the Western District of Arkansas. Julian assisted Judge Brooks and his clerks in the disposition of several complex civil and criminal matters. After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Arkansas School of Law, he returned to his hometown of Buffalo, NY, to clerk for Judge John L. Sinatra, Jr., in the Western District of New York. While working for Judge Sinatra, he continued to build upon his experience in complex litigation, which included emergency temporary restraining orders and criminal trials. Following his time in the Western District of New York, Julian clerked for Chief Judge Lavenski R. Smith on the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. Julian’s experience of working in three different courts brings a unique perspective to the issues that arise in his practice.

Hailing from “the City of Good Neighbors,” Julian prides himself on his relatability and friendliness while also maintaining a high level of professionalism. His extensive experience working in the service industry prior to law school has given him the background to better serve clients in the practice of law. When not at work, Julian enjoys spending time with his fiancée and their two dogs, watching rugby, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills.
