Haynes Boone Associates Sara Phipps, Julian Sharp and Re’Necia Sherald have accepted nominations to join the National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40.
The National Black Lawyers was created to celebrate legal excellence by promoting member attorneys as subject-matter experts, developing a strong national network of top African American attorneys, and facilitating the exchange of timely information to enable their members to maintain their status as leaders.
“Being recognized among some of the nation’s leading legal professionals, many of whom I deeply admire, is truly an honor,” said Sherald. “This recognition drives me to work harder towards bettering myself and my community, connecting with fellow NBL members and build meaningful opportunities for the next wave of Black legal talent.”
“It feels surreal to be named among the Top 40 Under 40 Black Lawyers in Texas by the National Black Lawyers,” Sharp shared. “It is an honor to be part of such a talented and inspiring group and I look forward to working with NBL to create pathways for future leaders in the legal field.”
Phipps, Sharp and Sherald join the ranks of Dominique Baldwin, Khalil Bryant and Meica Green, who were recognized in the previous class of Top 40 Under 40.
“Receiving this honor from The National Black Lawyers is a proud moment in my career,” said Phipps. “Being acknowledged alongside such distinguished Black attorneys motivates me to keep pushing forward and contributing to a brighter future for the next generation of Black legal minds.”
