Biography

Brenna Scully is an associate in the Appellate and Business Litigation Practice Groups in Haynes Boone’s Dallas office. Brenna represents a wide range of clients—from international financial institutions to local businesses and governmental entities—on a variety of matters, including securities fraud, employment law, corporate disputes and bankruptcy proceedings, in both federal and state courts.

Prior to joining the firm, Brenna clerked for two U.S. Court of Appeals judges, Judge Chad A. Readler and Judge Sandra S. Ikuta.

She graduated Order of the Coif and with Moot Court Honors from UCLA School of Law. While attending UCLA, Brenna was a member of the First Amendment Amicus Clinic, led by Professor Eugene Volokh, and the Supreme Court Clinic, led by Professor Stuart Banner.

Brenna earned a BA from Brown University where she double majored in Economics and Public Policy. Her senior thesis, for which she was awarded honors and the Noah Krieger Prize for Academic Excellence, analyzed outcome disparities due to differences in state crime victim compensation agencies.
