Isaac K. Neill

Isaac Neill is a partner in the Finance Practice Group in Haynes Boone’s Charlotte office. He focuses on representing lenders and borrowers in a variety of debt financing transactions. Clients appreciate Isaac’s timely and business-minded counsel in structuring, negotiating and closing credit facilities and products.

Isaac routinely documents cash flow and asset-based credit facilities provided by banks and direct lenders, from the middle market to investment grade. His lending experience includes sponsor acquisition financings, working capital facilities, real estate financings, cross-border and multi-currency financings, and distressed financings across the capital structure. He has closed credit facilities for operating companies in a wide variety of industries, including technology, media and communications, financial services and insurance, healthcare and medical equipment, aviation and leasing, manufacturing, logistics and rail, franchising, agriculture, higher education and non-profits, energy and utilities, and government contracting and defense.

In addition to his core lending practice, Isaac has significant experience with out-of-court restructurings and workouts, public and private debt securities offerings, private equity investments and derivatives. He has been recognized among “Ones to Watch” in the Banking and Finance Law category by Best Lawyers in America, Woodward/White, Inc.

  • Represented the agent bank and lead arranger in structuring and documenting $385,000,000 credit facilities to finance the acquisition of a telecommunications infrastructure provider by a top tier private equity sponsor and numerous add-on acquisitions.
  • Advised the direct lender and controlled investment funds on the out-of-court restructuring of a distressed portfolio of senior and subordinated secured private credit investments.
  • Represented the agent bank and lead arranger in structuring and documenting $135,000,000 credit facilities secured by a borrowing base consisting primarily of helicopter assets.
  • Represented the agent bank and lead arranger in structuring and documenting secured credit facilities in excess of $500,000,000 for a national energy drink manufacturer.
  • Represented the agent bank and lead arranger in structuring and documenting specific collateral-secured credit facilities to finance the acquisition of a CFTC-regulated derivatives services provider by a private equity sponsor.
  • Represented the agent bank and lead arranger in structuring and documenting $125,000,000 credit facilities for a publicly-traded provider of commercial and residential insurance products across the Southeast.
