The Texas Lawbook ranked Haynes Boone in the top five firms for both Texas-led and Texas-related deals in its annual Corporate Deal Tracker reviewing mergers and acquisitions in Texas during 2024. The rankings track both M&A transactions handled by Texas lawyers and transactions in the Texas market.
Haynes Boone repeated as a top-five firm in the state for the third straight year. The firm advised on 73 Texas-led deals in 2024, an increase from last year’s 71, and it had a total deal value of $7.6 billion. Haynes Boone also remained in the top five for Texas-related deals with 78 total transactions.

- Diversified Energy on its $410 million acquisition of natural gas assets from Oaktree Capital Management, L.P.
- Nabors Industries in a $472 million acquisition of Parker Wellbore
- Satcom Direct on its sale to Gogo Inc. for up to $600 million
