Haynes and Boone, LLP represented Earthstone Energy, Inc. in its agreement to sell of 2,800 net acres of non-core assets for $66.5 million.
The assets, located in Texas’ Karnes and Gonzales counties in the Eagle Ford Shale, produced roughly 1,160 boepd in the third quarter of 2023. The transaction is expected to fully close in the fourth quarter of this year.
In the past two years, Haynes Boone has represented Earthstone in strategic acquisitions, including supportive financing, or sales totaling more than $2.2 billion.
The Haynes Boone deal team included Austin Elam, partner and co-chair of the Oil and Gas Practice Group, Counsel Danielle Marr and Associates Camie McKee, Bradley Potts and Darby Sorrels.
