The American Bar Association recognized two Haynes and Boone, LLP attorneys, Partner Alla Digilova and Associate Greg Van Houten, with its prestigious On the Rise - Top 40 Young Lawyers award for 2024.
The national recognition program honors up-and-coming lawyers under the age of 36 or in practice for a maximum of 10 years, who demonstrate exceptional achievement, innovation, vision and leadership within the legal profession and their communities.
Digilova is a partner in the firm’s Haynes Boone’s Capital Markets and Securities Practice Group. Her practice focuses on advising issuers, underwriters and institutional investors in diverse public and private securities transactions, including initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, ATMs, PIPEs, up-listings and reverse mergers. She also provides guidance on general corporate and securities law matters. Beyond her practice, Digilova is a member of the FSU Board of UJA Federation of New York and is a board member of Harvard Law School Association of New York City. She holds a juris doctor from Harvard Law School and graduated summa cum laude with bachelor of arts degrees in biology and economics from Yeshiva University.
Van Houten is a high-stakes commercial litigator who represents corporate plaintiffs in insurance recovery matters. He also advises clients on optimal insurance policy wording during renewals and navigating complex insurance issues in M&A transactions. His background as a high school physics teacher and in economics gives him the unique ability to present complex legal issues effectively and efficiently. He is the creator of PolicyholderPlaybook.com, a bi-weekly blog dedicated to best practices in insurance policyholder advocacy.
