Biography
Dr. Amy (Qing) Xu is a patent agent in the Intellectual Property Practice Group in Haynes Boone’s Dallas – North office. Her practice focuses on patent prosecution primarily in the semiconductor field.
Amy brings with her diverse and in-depth R&D experiences in oil and gas, polymer, biofuel, among others. She is also well versed in related process simulations and software development. As an inventor on multiple patent applications and a developer for multiple licensed software, Amy understands the inventors’ perspectives and the clients' priorities.
Amy previously worked as a patent agent in another law firm in DFW area. Prior to her legal career, Amy served as a senior R&D engineer and scientist at a Fortune 100 company for seven years.
