Biography
Laura Vu is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group in Haynes Boone’s San Francisco office. Laura previously served as a law clerk to Judge Raymond T. Chen of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
In district court, Laura has assisted with critical phases of litigation at the pre-trial, trial, and post-trial stage, including motions to dismiss, claim construction, infringement, invalidity, damages, witness preparation and cross-examination, and post-trial motions.
Laura has also appeared in numerous post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board representing both petitioner and patent owner. She has drafted briefing at all stages of inter partes review proceedings, including petitions and patent owner responses.
