Biography
Adam Fowles prepares and prosecutes patent applications; conducts portfolio analysis for offensive and defensive purposes; conducts patentability, infringement, freedom-to-operate, and invalidity analyses; and authors opinion letters.
Clients turn to Adam to handle all phases of post-grant proceedings, including pre-filing investigations, petition preparation, depositions, response/reply briefing, oral argument, and appellate practice. Adam also supports his clients’ litigation efforts ranging from discovery practice to claim construction briefing in district court and ITC proceedings.
Adam’s clients benefit from his experience in a variety of technical fields, including telecommunications for innovations on existing standards/hardware such as that fall under 4G (including LTE/LTE-A), as well as new protocols/hardware for future standards (including 5G), data storage systems, machine learning, autonomous vehicles, hardware and circuit design, web-based systems, lithography, optics, semiconductors, tissue ablation using RF, other biomedical systems and devices, oil and gas drilling/production, and business methods.
Prior to practicing law, Adam assisted in the development of data processing systems for airborne LIDAR scanners that create colored 3D point clouds. Adam also has experience in digital signal processing, communications, analog and digital design, systems engineering, and lean processes.
