An attorney's responsibilities and expectations within a law firm are continuously evolving based on the attorney's experience level, role, and engagement with the firm. To help ensure that attorneys at the firm reach their full potential, many firms have established Attorney Development departments as a resource for their attorneys. The Attorney Development department plays a crucial and dynamic role in supporting the growth and development of attorneys throughout their careers. Accordingly, attorneys should become familiar with this department and with the various ways in which it can help develop attorneys.
