In 2022, Laura Prather, partner and chair of the firm’s media law practice group, was selected as a Fulbright Scholar. She spent the fall of 2022 in Paris working with Reporters Without Borders to research how Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation (SLAPPs) have impacted core human rights in the European Union — and to help advocate for solutions to the problem.
Back from Paris, Laura is authoring a 6-part series to be published by the Media Law Resource Center’s Media Law Letter about her "lessons learned as a Fulbright Scholar."
