FFA 2024 Global Symposium: Haynes Boone Panel Summaries

March 07, 2024

What a wonderful week in Miami at the Fund Finance Association’s 13th Annual Global Symposium, which was hosted on February 26-29, 2024 at the Fontainebleau! Our global Fund Finance team sincerely thanks the Fund Finance Association and everyone who was involved in the planning and participation of the conference – with over 1900 delegates, the event was a major success.

If you weren’t able to travel to Miami for this year’s conference, or weren’t able to attend all of the incredible programming, our team has prepared panel discussion summaries that we hope you find informative.

The content was spot on with respect to the present global market and economic situation and covered all hot topics ranging from using AI to transform the financial industry to a discussion about the impact of geopolitical tensions on banking and private equity. Consistent themes were a focus on the resilience of the industry post the March 2023 regional banking crisis, an increased focus on lender diversification and portfolio risk limits, ratings and capital relief tools, the opportunities and challenges of net asset value facilities and promising developments in debt capital market solutions for the fund finance market.

Our 30+ Haynes Boone attendees enjoyed visiting with clients and old and new friends and participating in the various panels and activities put on by the FFA and Women in Fund Finance. As always, please reach out to any member of our global Fund Finance team if you would like to discuss any of these topics in more depth.

Please note these summaries simply reflect our key impressions from these various panel discussions and not the viewpoint of the authors or any specific panelist.
