Haynes Boone is delighted to welcome Transactional Partner Joe Sarcinella to the firm’s New York City office. Joe joins from Reed Smith, where he has spent the last eight years including serving as the chair of the real estate practice group.
Over the course of his career, Joe has helped execute over $200 billion in transactions representing banking and private equity clients. His practice includes the real estate and finance aspects of large, highly structured M&A transactions.
"The people throughout Haynes Boone are open, honest and transparent amongst one another and with their clients,” Joe said. “My practice aligns perfectly with the firm’s platform, and I look forward to continuing to provide exceptional service and strategic guidance to our clients."
Joe primarily practices in cross-border real estate finance, structured finance and consortium lending, with everything from ground-up construction to stabilized properties. Joe has advised on buyer- and seller-side debt sales, including co-lender and intercreditor agreement negotiations and has served as debt counsel on both the borrower and lender side of transactions. He is also experienced in loan workouts, restructurings, and foreclosures.
“The addition of Joe to Haynes Boone brings a wealth of expertise that will significantly bolster our firm's capabilities, especially in our growing New York office,” Haynes Boone New York Office Managing Partner Craig Unterberg said. “We believe his contributions will play a pivotal role in advancing multiple practices within our firm.”
Joe is the third recent lateral hire to join Haynes Boone in New York City office, joining Insurance Recovery Partner Peter Halprin and Finance Counsel Leel Sinai.
