Haynes Boone has advised OT Tennis in the financing, permitting, development, and acquisition of an approximately 4-acre site in the Frisco Sports Village in Frisco, Texas. The cross-border venture, which includes Mexican investors, received bank financing for the purchase of the land from UBank. OT Tennis runs a leading junior tennis academy in Frisco and is developing a racket club with eight tennis courts, club house, and padel and pickleball courts.
OT Tennis is run by Omar Trevino Llaguno, one of the leading tennis professionals in north Texas. Trevino played Division 1 college tennis on a scholarship in the U.S. and previously was a leading junior tennis player in Mexico before coming to the United States where he has lived for over 20 years.
Working on the matter for Haynes Boone were Dallas Partners Larry Pascal and Lauren White, San Antonio Counsel Elizabeth Breazeale, and Dallas Associate Colin Cox.
Pascal played college tennis at the University of Kansas and has competed in international padel events on behalf of U.S. national padel, including the World Championships (+35) held in Las Vegas earlier this year.
