Alla Digilova has joined Haynes and Boone, LLP as a New York-based partner in the firm’s Capital Markets and Securities Practice.
Alla advises issuers and underwriters in initial public offerings and other equity offerings, high-yield and investment-grade debt offerings and private placements of securities. She also regularly counsels issuers on general corporate, corporate governance and securities law matters.
Alla joins from Kirkland & Ellis LLP where she was a partner in the firm’s Capital Markets Practice. Prior to that, she worked at Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP, where she focused on representing leading investment banks in both capital markets and complex finance and lending transactions. Her experience spans a variety of industries, including gaming, industrials, healthcare, retail, technology, telecommunications, transportation, life sciences and biotechnology.
“We are thrilled to add a lawyer like Alla, who brings a wealth of experience and an unusually diverse skill set, having represented many companies and underwriters in sophisticated equity and debt offerings,” said Haynes Boone Partner Rick Werner, co-chair of the Capital Markets and Securities Practice Group. “She greatly bolsters our ability to represent companies and investment banks in complex transactions.”
Alla has been deeply involved in community and charitable activities in New York City, including serving on the board of the UJA Federation of New York’s FSU Division. She is also a passionate advocate of pro bono work, particularly advising public policy institutes and other nonprofits on a wide range of intricate international development and policy issues.
“I was drawn to Haynes Boone because of its stellar Capital Markets Practice and its collaborative culture,” Alla said. “The extent to which its lawyers care not only about doing good work but also about supporting each other and having a positive impact on their communities is unique in the legal industry.”
Alla graduated from Harvard Law School in 2014, where she was a member of the Harvard Journal of Law & Technology. She received her bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from Yeshiva University in 2010.
