Latinvex has named Haynes Boone Partner Patricia Mastropierro to its 12th-annual ranking of the top 100 female lawyers specializing in Latin America among international law firms. She is ranked in Corporate M&A and is the only lawyer listed in the Aviation category.
The criteria for selection included a combination of factors, including recent track record on major deals and business, prominence of the firm in Latin America and other rankings. Research was based on data provided to Latinvex by the firms, publicly available data from the firms, M&A data from Refinitiv as well as third-party recognitions from Chambers, Legal 500 and others.
"Patricia is a phenomenal lawyer," said Haynes Boone Partner Susan Wetzel. "Her advice is practical and business-oriented, and she brings a positive, solution-driven mindset to every challenge. She never loses sight of the clients' goals, even under pressure, and we are fortunate to have her as part of the Haynes Boone team."
Mastropierro, managing partner of the Mexico City office, has been included in Latinvex’s Top 100 list for eight years. She represents one of the biggest U.S. airlines and its regional affiliates in more than 45 jurisdictions worldwide, and she has worked for more than 15 years on the airline’s international projects, including in the areas of commercial transactions and regulatory, aviation and litigation matters.
