Haynes Boone Partner Larry Pascal has been elected chair-elect of the World Affairs Council of Dallas / Fort Worth and will lead the board of directors beginning April 1, 2025. He has been a member of the board of the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth since 2019 and has served as vice chair since 2023. In this new role, he will work closely with President and CEO Liz Brailsford, the executive committee, and the board to advance the Council’s mission of connecting the North Texas region and the rest of the world.
In addition to presenting authoritative programs on international issues and opportunities, the World Affairs Council is a connecting point for worldwide diplomats and business interests in the Dallas/Fort Worth community. Additionally, the Council’s Global Young Leaders program works with high schools to give students an excellent source to learn about global careers, issues, and education opportunities.
“I am honored to be selected to serve as the next chair,” said Pascal. “I will be following in the footsteps of many distinguished civic leaders from North Texas in the past, including the current chair, Brendan McGuire of PNC Bank, and I want to acknowledge his dedication and accomplishment during his term.”
Pascal also serves as the chair of the Haynes Boone Americas Practice Group and co-chair of the International Practice Group. He brings more than 25 years of experience to his work advising companies on a variety of cross-border transactions and has extensive experience in the real estate, energy and infrastructure, manufacturing, agribusiness, financial services, technology, and aviation sectors.
