Ken Parker has rejoined Haynes Boone as a partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property (IP) Litigation Practice Group. He will divide his time between the San Francisco and Orange County offices.
Ken has experience with a broad range of high-stakes litigation involving complex and technical matters, including trade secret, trademark, patent, copyright, false advertising, and business disputes. Ken is a first-chair trial lawyer who has tried patent, trademark, and business cases to verdict, including International Trade Commission Section 337 patent litigation proceedings.

Ken previously served as the chair of Haynes Boone’s IP Litigation Practice Group and was a partner at Haynes Boone for more than 10 years. He most recently was a litigation partner at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP.

Ken’s work spans across industries, including life sciences (for example, research tools, analytical instrumentation/software, medical devices, diagnostics, biomanufacturing systems, etc.), software (encryption, predictive algorithms, AI), electronics and semiconductors, and consumer products. He prides himself on leading or working with teams to best serve clients, making complex issues understandable for clients, judges, and juries, and obtaining superior results for clients. Ken handles cases in courts throughout the country, and he is admitted in California, Washington, the federal district courts in California, the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas, the District of Colorado, and U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Federal, Second, and Ninth Circuits.
