Haynes Boone Partner Holly Loftis has been recognized in the 2024 Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation, a directory of the top up-and-coming lawyers across the world.
The Lawdragon editorial team selected 500 honorees through submissions, journalistic research and editorial vetting from a board of peers as a global reflection of the future of law.
The guide “has become Lawdragon’s own moonshot,” the publication stated. “What started as our hope to shine a light on the future of the legal profession has turned into our own inspiration.” The publication also said these attorneys “represent more than 200 law firms, each stronger for the talent, the vision, the hope these lawyers bring.”
“Holly truly exemplifies what it means to be a ‘Lawdragon,’” said Todd Cubbage, co-chair of the Finance Practice Group. “Clients call on her for her precision and attention to detail and her measured, commercial and collaborative approach to dealmaking.”
Loftis is a partner in the Finance Practice Group of Haynes Boone’s Charlotte and New York offices. With more than 14 years of experience, she is a veteran fund finance attorney and trusted advisor to banks and other financial institutions on the structuring, negotiation and documentation of complex and cross-border subscription credit facilities and other fund finance-adjacent secured and unsecured lending arrangements, including management fee lines, GP lines, employee co-invest loans and SBIC loans. Loftis’ lender-side representation runs the gamut of the estimated $800 billion fund finance market, with clients that execute small-cap bilateral subscription lines to VC firms, to clients doing club and broadly syndicated subscription lines with lender commitments in excess of $5 billion. She has advised on some of the largest subscription facilities to hit the market dating back to 2008 and has worked across from some of the largest PE sponsors in the world.
In addition to this ranking, Loftis has been recognized in Secured Finance Network’s 40 Under 40 List and Private Equity International’s 40 Under 40 list of future leaders of private equity.
