Haynes Boone has moved its largest of 19 global offices to a new building, Harwood No. 14, at 2801 N. Harwood St. in Dallas, Texas, where the firm is the lead tenant.
Haynes Boone’s Dallas office relocated its 330-plus employees, including more than 220 of its nearly 700 lawyers worldwide, to the Harwood District after being in Victory Park from 2008-2023. The new office comprises five-and-a-half floors and 125,000 square feet. The interior was designed by Gensler Architects, while the building was developed by Harwood International and designed by Corgan and Kengo Kuma & Associates.
“We are thrilled to be moving into this spectacular new building in the Harwood District of Dallas,” said Haynes Boone Managing Partner Taylor Wilson. “The new office modernizes our spaces to match the needs of our firm personnel and clients, with an emphasis on new technologies and eco-friendly functionality that we know our clients, lawyers and professional staff value.”
Utilizing cutting-edge, optimized cloud storage and a larger global service center in North Dallas allowed the firm to take on a smaller physical footprint in Dallas while also accommodating the firm’s record-high headcount and growth. The space includes expanded multiuse common areas and efficiently designed individual offices — reflecting the firm’s emphasis on community, sustainability and interactivity.
The new building further enables Haynes Boone’s commitment to employee wellness. It includes a gym and bike storage available to all employees, and it is steps away from the Katy Trail, a Haynes Boone community partner. Among the finishing touches is an art installation that will be created by Dallas high school students, which will be unveiled later this fall.
“As part of our firm culture, we are dedicated to serving the Dallas community, and that is reflected throughout our new office,” said Sakina Rasheed Foster, Dallas office managing partner. “We’re grateful to our partners at Scott + Reid, JLL and Gensler for helping create this modern new space, where we plan to be for many years.”
This move follows similar ones to new offices for Haynes Boone both in Denver and Mexico City in 2022, with relocation to a new space in Austin planned for later this year.
