Haynes Boone Receives High Marks in 2023 PIPEs Report

In its annual PIPEs League Table Report, The Deal named Haynes Boone to all three of its legal categories with a top-10 ranking in legal counsel representations for both placement agent and investor placements and a top-15 ranking in issuer placements in 2023.

The Deal's PIPE League Tables track private placements of equity and registered direct offerings of equity securities by publicly listed companies that result in gross cash proceeds to the company of at least $1 million.

Using proprietary data from PrivateRaise, The Deal ranked Haynes Boone as the eighth-most-active placement agent legal counsel in 2023, with 16 placements for a total value of nearly $100 million. The firm also tied as the ninth-most-active investor counsel, with five placements for a total value of over $100M.

Among notable transactions in 2023, the Haynes Boone Capital Markets and Securities Group represented Intracoastal Capital, LLC, an investment management firm, in connection with PharmaCyte Biotech’s private placement of convertible preferred stock and warrants with gross proceeds in aggregate of $35 million. The group also represented Austin-based AYRO, Inc., a manufacturer of light-duty, emissions-free electric vehicles, in the private placement of convertible preferred stock and warrants with gross proceeds in aggregate of $22 million.
