Haynes Boone Ranks Among Top 10 Firms in 2024 Lender Representations

April 01, 2025

Haynes Boone again ranked among the nation’s leading law firms in the LSEG Loan Connector (formerly Refinitiv) annual Lender Law Firm League Tables.

The LSEG league tables, which are considered a go-to benchmarking resource for the loan market, rank market leaders by volume and by number of deals.

Haynes Boone placed alongside other top law firms in total lender representations, both in the overall category (where the firm executed $63.5 billion in total deal work) and the leveraged deal category, which made up 45% of the firm’s total deals.

Overall: No. 7 lender firm in deal count, representing a 6.69% national market share

Leveraged: No. 9 lender firm in deal count, representing a 4.99% national market share

On the borrower side, Haynes Boone is ranked in the top 30, coming in at 27th in total deals and 25th in leveraged deals.

The firm's finance success stems from its integrated approach across specialized teams, including Energy Finance, Real Estate Finance, FinTech and more. Haynes Boone’s broad finance group regularly provides guidance and experience across key industries like healthcare, franchise, energy, financial services and general industrials. Recent transactions include a term loan B facility for an insurance company, a working capital facility to a healthcare group and a secured crypto-backed financing.

To meet increasing client demand, Haynes Boone added seven attorneys in New York in 2025 and has brought on six attorneys in Charlotte since 2023, strengthening its presence in two financial hubs.

Haynes Boone's Finance Practice combines market intelligence with technical excellence and advises corporate borrowers, financial institutions and investment funds on asset-based lending, senior debt, capital commitment facilities, project finance, energy finance, prime brokerage, public finance and restructurings.
