Press Release

Haynes Boone London Growth Continues With Addition of Leading Cross-Border Corporate Partner Lesley Gregory

March 05, 2025

Haynes Boone is pleased to welcome Partner Lesley Gregory—a highly regarded corporate lawyer with vast experience in cross-border transactions—to its London office. Gregory joins from Memery Crystal, where she held extensive executive management roles and built a reputation as a leading adviser on public and private M&A and capital markets transactions.

Gregory’s arrival marks another significant addition to Haynes Boone’s growing corporate and capital markets capabilities in London, complementing the team of seven lawyers who joined from the same the firm last month, including newly appointed London Office Co-Head Nick Davis.

Gregory’s practice brings a distinct focus on both private and public M&A, alternative capital raising strategies and international deal structuring, particularly between the United Kingdom and the United States, as well as Canada, Australia and Africa. She has advised clients across global financial markets, including on IPOs, secondary capital raisings and corporate bonds. She has also been instrumental in helping growth companies explore alternative forms of financing, including retail corporate bonds. A trusted adviser to companies, nominated advisers (NOMADs) and brokers, she has been involved in some of the most significant U.K. market listings and financings in recent years, and her annual top ranking in Chambers U.K. as well as a place in The Legal 500 Hall of Fame reflect that.

“This is an exciting new chapter for me and my clients, who have a need for direct access to doing business and listing in the United States,” Gregory said. “Haynes Boone’s collaborative culture is also a wonderful fit for me and my practice, and I’m looking forward to working again with Nick and my other former colleagues as well as my new colleagues across the globe.”

Beyond her legal practice, Gregory is known for her commitment to mentorship and diversity in business. She is the founder of Women in Business Connect, a network that brings together female founders, investor, mentors and non-executive directors to foster collaboration and investment opportunities. She is eager to relaunch the initiative at Haynes Boone, continuing its mission of supporting female entrepreneurs.

Gregory also has extensive board and governance experience, currently serving as a non-executive director of Aquis Stock Exchange Ltd., a regulated Stock Exchange in the U.K., and as a trustee of the Orange Tree Theatre in Richmond.

“I am delighted Lesley has joined myself and the rest of the ECM team at Haynes Boone,” Davis said. “Lesley’s deep experience will be invaluable to clients looking to access capital and execute deals across multiple jurisdictions. Im also excited that Lesley will be continuing her amazing work supporting female entrepreneurs at Haynes Boone.”
