Haynes Boone is the proud recipient of the 2024 Alexander Award for Excellence in Pipeline Diversity, given annually by the American Bar Association and sponsored by the ABA’s Council for Diversity in the Educational Pipeline.
The accolade acknowledges outstanding leadership in pipeline initiatives, recognizing firms and individuals who support success through all levels of the educational journey, beginning with mentorship of elementary school students up through law school and into the professional practice of law.
Haynes Boone, the Pipeline Initiative works to expose diverse students of all ages to the legal field in the interest of developing a talented legal workforce that represents an array of backgrounds and perspectives.

Haynes Boone partners with a number of schools and education-focused non-profits through its Pipeline Initiative, including the University of Texas at Arlington’s Pre-Law Program, Dallas Independent School District’s P-TECH Program at L.G. Pinkston High School, United to Learn at C.F. Carr Elementary School in Dallas, Communities in Schools of Central Texas in Austin, YES Prep East End in Houston and Eliot-Hine Middle School in Washington, D.C.
This award follows other similar commendations, including in 2020, when Haynes Boone won the Employers for Education Excellence Award from the Texas State Board of Education.
