Haynes Boone has again won recognition as one of the nation’s leading firms in diversity, equity and inclusion.
In the recently released 2023 Chambers Associate survey (Chambers & Partners), Haynes Boone ranked among the nation’s top 25 firms, as measured by associate satisfaction with their firms’ commitment to DEI.
More than 90 percent of associates surveyed felt positive about Haynes Boone’s DEI recruitment efforts, Chambers reported. “Retention is also a focal point,” Chambers added, quoting an associate who said: “Women at all levels take maternity leave; the firm is very accommodating and wants us to have long careers here.”
“We are committed to being a market leader in DEI, and it is gratifying to know that our associates understand and appreciate our daily efforts to recruit, retain and promote diverse lawyers,” said Haynes Boone Managing Partner Taylor Wilson.
Haynes Boone, likewise, ranked among the nation’s leading firms in DEI and other key categories in the 2024 Vault rankings. Vault ranks firms based on market feedback and analysis, along with surveys sent to associates at firms across the country.
Haynes Boone ranked as the 19th best firm for “overall diversity” and the seventh best firm in “diversity for women.” The firm also posted top marks in the following categories:
- No 13 in wellness
- No. 18 in technology and innovation
- No. 19 for best summer associate program
- No. 22 in firm culture
These accolades come on the heels of Haynes Boone ranking 21st nationally in The American Lawyer’s 2023 Diversity Scorecard, which graded 228 American law firms by the diversity of their attorney populations.
