Haynes and Boone, LLP Partner Brandon McCoy was selected by Global M&A Network as one of the nation’s rising star M&A dealmakers from the North and South American regions.
Brandon and the other rising stars were recognized at the 13th-Annual Americas Growth & Deals Virtual Forum for their “dedication,” “excellence,” and “leadership qualities,” according to Global M&A Network.
Chair of the Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group, Brandon focuses on complex business transactions for both private and public clients in a range of industries, with a focus on mergers, acquisitions, private equity investments, and joint ventures. He also helps clients with premerger notification compliance under the Hart Scott Rodino Act.
In 2021, Brandon was included in the "Ones to Watch" category of Best Lawyers in America, Woodward/White, Inc., and was selected by The Deal as one of the nation’s top M&A lawyers. Brandon is a Certified Public Accountant, and prior to attending law school, he worked as a tax accountant at Ernst & Young LLP.
