Hundreds of Haynes Boone Lawyers Recognized in Best Lawyers in America 2024, Including 6 Lawyers of the Year

Haynes and Boone, LLP had another impressive showing in The Best Lawyers in America directory, published by Woodward/White, Inc., with a cross section of lawyers from many offices across the country recognized in the 2024 edition. Six Haynes Boone lawyers earned special recognition as Lawyer of the Year in their respective practice areas, while hundreds more were designated as Best Lawyers and Ones to Watch.

The Lawyer of the Year winners include Partner Russ Emerson and Counsel Catherine Robb, who received the distinction in two practice areas, as well as Partners David McCombs, Purvi Patel Albers, W. Scott Wallace, and Tom Chen.

This year, 159 Haynes Boone lawyers from Austin, Charlotte, Chicago, Orange County, Dallas, Dallas-North, Denver, Fort Worth, Houston, New York, Northern Virginia, Palo Alto, San Antonio, The Woodlands, and Washington, D.C. were listed as Best Lawyers. Catherine Robb: Litigation and First Amendment Law – Austin, Texas

Catherine is counsel in the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group in the Austin office of Haynes Boone. Her practice is focused on, First Amendment litigation, pre-publication review and editing, copyright and trademark litigation, general commercial litigation, open-government issues and privacy concerns. David McCombs: Technology Law – Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas

David is primary counsel for many leading corporations in inter partes review (IPR) and is regularly identified as one of the most active attorneys appearing before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). His clients benefit from his 39 years of practice, which include appellate argument, patent litigation, and portfolio development.

Russ Emerson: Litigation and Patent Law – Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas
