The M&A Advisor announced Haynes Boone lawyers Austin Elam and Brent Beckert among the recipients of its 14th Annual Emerging Leaders Awards. Austin is co-chair of the firm’s Oil and Gas Practice Group, and Brent is a partner in the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group.
The M&A Advisor, renowned globally for its recognition and presentation of leading M&A, financing and turnaround professionals, created this awards program to promote mentorship and professional development among the emerging leaders of corporate finance and dealmaking industries.
Austin and Brent were chosen from a pool of prominent nominees for their notable accomplishments in business and in service to the community. Austin maintains a broad transactional energy practice with an emphasis on complex upstream and midstream oil and gas transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and financings of oil and gas properties and energy assets across the broader energy spectrum. Brent focuses his practice on corporate law, private and public mergers and acquisitions, SPACs, venture capital raises, and other complex domestic and international transactions for clients in a variety of industries.
“With the challenges undertaken over the past three years, especially with the pandemic and with challenging economic uncertainty, our selected honorees are at the top of their game. The 2023 award recipients join a truly remarkable, global network of outstanding young professionals,” said Roger Aguinaldo, founder and CEO of The M&A Advisor.
The M&A Advisor will host a black-tie Awards Gala in New York City to introduce the Emerging Leaders Award Winners to the business community and celebrate their achievements in September of this year.
