A Haynes and Boone, LLP team represented the administrative agent for the senior secured lenders in the comprehensive financial restructuring of Tapstone Energy, LLC (Tapstone).
The restructuring, announced by Tapstone on April 20, will enable the company to recapitalize its balance sheet and fortify its liquidity by significantly reducing long-term debt and interest expense. Tapstone said the transaction also positions the company to expand its production base through mergers and acquisitions.
The Haynes and Boone team includes Partners Eli Columbus, Frasher Murphy, Matt Ferris and Austin Elam. They were assisted by Partners Matthew Fry, Lauren White, Kenneth Bezozo and and Associates Don Shiman, Matthew Rountree, Vikki Marsh, Alex Kirincic and Kim Mai. Landmen Randy Browne and Ashleigh Gibbs also assisted with the transaction.
