Haynes Boone has renewed and expanded its lease at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in Manhattan. New York Office Managing Partner Craig Unterberg spoke with Law360 Pulse about the firm’s growing footprint in the city and what it means for the office’s future.

Haynes Boone also decided to expand and renovate the firm's office at 30 Rock after looking at "a whole bunch of different buildings and really different locations," according to New York managing partner Craig Unterberg. The firm is on the 25th and 26th floors and plans to move to newly renovated space on the 22nd and 23rd floors. Construction started last month.
"We felt that our office needed a full overhaul to become a modern office that brings people back in and promotes collaboration," Unterberg told Law360 Pulse.
Haynes Boone also plans to renovate and keep at least part of the 25th floor, but exactly how much space is still unclear. The switch will expand the firm's New York footprint from some 70,000 square feet to roughly 90,000 square feet.
"We're in rapid growth mode," Unterberg said.
