Haynes and Boone, LLP Partner Lauren Brogdon was quoted in a Bloomberg Law article on a Sixth Circuit ruling that abolishes a huge class of Ohio residents with PFAS in their blood from affecting what information is provided to courts and who is targeted in future litigation.
The ruling sent a message to plaintiffs generally that they can’t just pick and choose defendants that might have caused the alleged injury, Brogdon said. “You have to be able to establish a traceability claim for every defendant you name.”
