London Training Recruitment
The London office of Haynes Boone is fully committed to providing high-quality training and support to our trainees. We will provide four seats of training in the litigation/arbitration group and the non-contentious group. Trainees in those seats will work with different teams across the range of the firm’s practice areas within the relevant group during each seat. Practical training will be given with plenty of support and feedback. We are currently accepting applications for the 2026 Training Contract through 9 June 2024.
Training Programme Details

What we are looking for:
- A strong and consistent academic record and to be on track for, or have obtained, a 2:1 degree minimum
- Take on responsibility, have commercial awareness, commitment, energy and spark
- A sense of community and enthusiasm to participate
Selection process:
- Applications open on 1 March 2024 with a deadline of 9 June 2024.

- 1st interview in person with two partners and our office administrator. A written test is given.
- 2nd interview assessment day in our London office –
- interviews with partners from the contentious and non-contentious groups
- joint candidate interviews with associates and counsel
- presentation to lawyers
- lunch with lawyers
